Italian Technical Business Analyst – Life Insurance / Wealth Management – MILAN

Contract 12 Months Outside IR35

Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Italian speaking Business Analyst to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well known insuretech business. They are a small subsidiary of a much larger financial exchange firm.
The first mission starts in February with a six-to-twelve-month mandate in Milan. Further mandates are in the pipeline.
This is a greenfield platform involving a major insurers and financial institutions. It combines robo advisory with varied portfolio management and portfolio insurance. The firm own and operate a platform for individualised, algorithmic financial products, bringing together investment banks, insurance companies, asset managers and commercial banks.
The Business Analyst will Manage the integration of participants onto the platform you will work in a team, supported by specialists in IT, finance, project management and infrastructure.
The firm is currently based in London and Prague. The firm’s 13 employees come from diverse backgrounds: IT & finance, male & female, various nationalities. We collaborate closely with Euroclear staff in Brussels.
The Business Analyst will:

• Analyse participant systems and perform a gap-analysis identifying the work to be performed to integrate them onto the platform.
• Develop detailed on-boarding plans and on-boarding project timelines
• Manage and report on-boarding project progress
• Develop detailed business scenarios
• Develop test scenarios and test plans (integration, system, UAT)
• Provide input to the dashboards required for each participant
• Work on-site with a participant (in continental Europe) to achieve their on-boarding

Business Analysts must have:
 A minimum of 5 years financial technical business analysis experience
 University degree
 Solid experience of the Software Lifecycle
 Italian speaker, proficient in English. Fluency in at least one other European language is an advantage
 Experience in/with at least one European insurance company in the life space or
 Experience in a wealth Manager or Asset Manager
 Familiarity with Albedo or New Albedo Web systems is a major advantage
 Project management skills are required
 Communication skills and teamwork are essential
 Ability to independently coordinate an on-boarding project at an insurance company
 Fluent with MSOffice
 Being a certified tester is a plus
 Programming skills are a plus
 Exposure to different Business Analysis techniques and processes
This is a unique opportunity for someone to expand further into financial technology. You should be driven and interested to gain some serious financial vendor experience as well as taking on a volume of responsibility. As this is a niche sector expect a serious package as well as the autonomy to create new and unique solutions and the ear of the CTO and CEO of a global firm.
My client is based in London and Milan you must be able to be onsite in Milan for 6 months.
