Javascript .net Fullstack Web Application Developer
Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Javascript .net Fullstack Web Application Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is the world leader in Market data management systems, with clients globally such as most of the major investment banks. Their team in Tunbridge is at 63 and rapidly expanding. As a developer you will work in small teams consisting of a BA, Implementation consultant, web and windows developer and a PM.
You will focus on a third-generation .NET web application suite, although legacy solutions also comprise of ASP.NET WebForms.
All new development is built using React JS for the client side backed by WebAPI (C#) REST Endpoints. For managing application state, they use Redux and Immutable JS. Existing features which are in active maintenance use the Backbone Marionette framework, but due to the impressive performance and productivity benefits of React, we have chosen to gradually phase out these older frameworks. We use open source JavaScript libraries extensively, most notably Lodash, Plotly Charts and React Virtualized.
Postman covers API level testing. Full stack integration testing is handled by a proprietary test rig that utilises Selenium. Manual feature testing and an in-depth understanding of client requirements are also a key part of delivering high quality software at MDSL.
Day to day the FullStack Developer will:
• Design and implement custom mission critical services and applications using the .NET Framework and SQL technologies.
• Take a project through the entire lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and support.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .net and React code.
