Junior Core Java Developer Big Data Fintech
Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Junior Core Java Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is the world’s leading market portfolio risk analytics software businesses. This Fintech business has both a B to C and a B to B product both of which are rapidly growing. Main projects at present are client modifications as well as a brand new greenfield B2C platform for wealth management to the retail / high volume space.
You will be completely hands on but have aspirations for higher things.
Development is agile and fast paced. The day begins with a short stand up at which tasks will be distributed and any road-blocks cleared. Work is test driven, with unit tests implemented first to be run in our continuous integration environment. Only then do they write code. As requirements evolve you will re-factor and our unit test suite. To deliver quickly you will leverage the best of the open source community, sometimes substituting your own solutions where greater performance is needed. You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and through doing so you will help shape the architecture.
Junior Java Developers Must Have:

The role will provide the opportunity to work directly with our customers – traders, salespeople and technologists at leading wealth managers.
