Sales Account Manager – Market / Reference Data Solution

Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Account Manager to join our high profile client.

Our client is a key player in the fintech100 and well known for its enterprise wide real-time market data and reference data management products. They have offices across the globe and are the have the number one product for the buy and sell side space.

This is a brand new greenfield product within the business that will shape the hosted real-time market data space over the next 10 years. The team is flat with an emphasis on collaboration and relationship based sales. The pipeline of contacts is warm with many inroads already established into tier 1 customers. We are looking to move further into UK buy side clients with emphasis on Asset Managers, Funds and Insurance Businesses

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing all existing EMEA relationships, including a number of major tier 1 banks and other sell side firms.

The role requires someone who likes being client facing and really building a relationship. The product is very well built so this is an opportunity to work collaboratively to increase its use and design the next level of Product. They have a large client base so the possibility for real innovation and growth is real. The account manager will be given free reign to really get into the market and exploit gaps as well as lead the market forward.

I am looking for bright account managers from either bank or vendor side with experience of a range of asset classes and experience across Financial Data, Data Solutions, OMS, Execution Systems.

Account Managers must:

  • Experience of Market or reference data or software platform solutions on an enterprise scale.
  • Experience as an account manager
  • Interest in relationship and inside sales development
  • Demonstrable track record of being a leader and hard worker.
  • Knowledge of financial data and how enterprise wide systems offer advantages.
  • Experience of working on sales projects that implemented data management applications, core banking systems, trading platforms or data products

Knowledge and experience of vendor data service provider feeds, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Telekurs, MarkIT and IDC is ideal but we are particularly looking for candidates who understand enterprise account management and want a place with fewer limits.

My client offers serious progression and both a bonus and commission. You would expect to be returning around £100k personally in the first year dependant on your experience.
