Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Business Analyst to join or well known Fintech50 client who produces software disrupting the wealth management market.

The Business Analyst role has come around due to an expansion and strategic change, the Business Analyst will report in to the head of product and client management. This role offers the ability to move towards product management as well as platform ownership.

The development team works in a very agile fashion on 2 week sprints. Teams are split into 5 man pods with a business analyst in each, responsible for their own projects.

The Business Analyst Will:

  • Work with client and product development to produce a new set of functionality for a pensions platform
  • Project planning
  • Resourcing
  • Product Development
  • Agile Planning
  • Analysis and documentation of existing business processes, including process maps and supporting notes and metrics
  • Solution Definition
  • Solution implementation
  • Project Management
  • Stakeholder Management – Liaison with the business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues and to ensure that business sponsors fully understand and agree with the project analyses, conclusions and recommendations

I am looking for a client-facing and ambitious BA with the skills in excel and ideally financial services, especially wealth management. The right Business Analyst will have the drive and focus to make a significant contribution to the delivery of products and services to a growing client base. They will have the opportunity to work in a friendly, collaborative environment on advanced projects that are important to clients and their businesses.

Business Analyst’s Must Have:

  • 2 years as a Business Analyst
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Ideally an understanding of financial products
  • Business process re-engineering methods & principles
