Desktop Support Engineer – Trading Systems Infrastructure

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a talented Desktop Support Engineer to join the Infrastructure Team of a high-profile client.

Our client is a rapidly growing global FinTech focused on streamlining access for traders to tier-1 banks. They run modern desktop solutions and cloud services for its staff members who support a globally distributed and highly available cloud based financial SAAS platform.

On a day-today basis the Desktop Support Engineer will:

  • Take responsibility for supporting a global desktop environment
  • Help to shape the future of mission-critical IT systems
  • Interface with all levels of business from peers to CEO globally
  • Troubleshoot issues, handle escalations and promote change management processes
  • Help support cloud-based technology as well as Windows

You will need:

  • 3-5 years experience supporting desktops in a mission-critical environment
  • Microsoft, including on-prem Active Directory, Azure AD, O365 and Windows OS
  • Enterprise security and firewalls
  • PowerShell scripting
  • MessageLabs Email Secure gate
  • Microsoft PowerShell
  • Multi factor authentication
  • Networking skills, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • JIRA
  • Azure/other cloud technologies
