Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Tableau Specialist with data skills to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well know UK wealth manager with clients across the globe, they offer Institutional and Retail wealth management. Their post Covid policy is to automate as much internally as they can for their clients. Technology is now more important in Financial services than it has ever been, understanding and utilising data, from clean to raw is this firms priority.
The Tableau expert will be responsible for the scope, design, build, management, and oversight of major dashboard designs within the Commercial Analytics team; providing robust solutions to support strategic aims. The team will provide analytical support to ExCo members and management teams, primarily through interactive dashboards. This will include the proactive provision of potential business initiatives based on facts and evidence (market trends, competitor analysis etc) that align to and support our strategic roadmap.
The Tableau Specialist:
• Support the business in evaluating investment and business opportunities.
• Supporting the business in delivery of its objectives and improvement in financial performance.
• Market and peer group analysis.
• Understanding of development, data modelling and ETL knowledge that includes Data warehouse Data Modelling, Star and Snowflake schema.
• Strong understanding of relevant technologies (Cube Design, SQL/MDX).
• Hands on experience querying MS-SQL
• Data scoping.
• Design, development, testing and deployment of Tableau Dashboards.
• Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions.
• Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.
The Technical Analyst must have:
• 5 years Tableau – an expert
• 3+ years developing executive level and operational dashboards using tools such as Tableau, COGNOS, Business Objects or 2+ years working in a CRM delivery role.
• Demonstrated ability to take detailed requirements and convert into actionable documents.
• Strong background in all aspects of database technology.
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Strong understanding of relevant technologies (Cube Design, SQL/MDX).
• Hands on experience querying MS-SQL
• Data scoping.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced).
• Experience with SQL and Relational Databases.
• Ability to evaluate quantitative data sets and determine ‘big picture’ implications required.
This is a new role working closely with the business team where you will gain serious exposure to financial services and asset management.
My client is based in Central London with 2 days expected in the Office.
