Quant Capital has a fantastic opportunity for a SQL database administrator to join a market research business in the financial services industry.

My client are urgently looking for a SQL DBA to join their City of London offices, as a SQL DBA you will report to the Head of Data.

In this role you will have a number of responsibilities, from writing SQL queries to performance tuning. You will be involved in restructuring and improving the efficiency the database and applying security measures throughout the process.

As a SQL DBA you must have:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2012 experience if not then 2008
• SSRS, SSIS
• Experience Database tuning, administration, management and security
• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with client-server computing
• Experience of data processing techniques
• Experience working in a team environment
• Good documentation skills

Additional skills (desirable, but not essential):

• Basic programming skills in OO languages such as Java (version 7)
