C# Developer – Trading Platform
(up to £60K)
Quant Capital is urgently looking for a C# developer to join our high profile client.
My client is a well known financial connectivity provider for the front office. They create a low latency high volume transaction network for Equity and Fixed Income trades. As such they are a firm driven bu technology and getting the most out of it.
The C# Developer sits in a team of 6 who work completely to the Scrum Methodology. The product is large and complex with comprehensive business functionality written in C# and has both desktop and web clients. You will quickly progress to complete platform and tool development as well as the ability to be client facing if you wish. Some elements that need quick development time are written in Java (as such we would consider a Java Developer who wants to learn low level C#). C++ and C# is used due to its ability to stand up to low latency transactions and its speed. (it does take a little longer to code though).
You must possess excellent problem solving skills, a strong motivation and experience to develop high quality, efficient and maintainable code and a first class attitude to adapt to a fast moving and dynamic environment

Experience in Java and SQL Server would be an advantage.
The role suits a bright C# junior or senior developer with some commercial experience looking to gain more exposure to financial services and risk as well as fit into a mature and relaxed team in a fun work environment that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
