Quant Capital is urgently looking for a C++ Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a worldwide leader in in low latency technology and global distribution of market data. They currently are leading the drive on high frequency trading with most hedge funds and prop houses using their technology to get to market. They create ultra-low latency ultra-mission critical platforms that trade billions of dollars a minute.
I am looking for a high quality C++ programmers to assist with core development of a proprietary server technology and very-high-speed message bus.You will be joining a team of expert C++ programmers, utilizing the latest compiler toolsets and o/s APIs in a highly demanding real-time environment.
This is a role for someone who wants to learn C++ in a financial setting where development is the key. This is not a quant role it is a role for developers. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual but with a work hard attitude. The team stands at 24 in the Cambridge office with another development office in Chicago (Holiday maybe). Friday pub lunch is normal. Training is a big part of what this firm offers as investing in juniors is key to my clients business success.
Junior C++ Developers must have:
§2:1 or above Hons. degree or equivalent in mathematics, computer science or comparable scientific discipline.
§At least 1 Science A level with good overall results
§Excellent C++ skills
§Including STL / boost and fluency in template-based design.
You will be highly motivated with a professional approach to work.
This is a role for a Developer who has some development experience and is looking to get into financial services or a demanding technical environment. The atmosphere is relaxed and training is strong. You will be given the opportunity to work at the pinnacle of trading technology working with a group of particularly experienced and clever individuals.
