Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Payments Project Manager to join our high profile client.

The firm is a large fintech in the payments and SAAS space. They have global offices and are well known as the market leader. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out APIs that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Our client is a well known SAAS technology business in the portfolio management space. Through an open architecture it places control firmly in the hands of the user. It allows Multi asset, single asset and transformational businesses can select from pre-configured or fully customised workflows.
The Project Manager will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing client implementation projects. They are accountable for the client delivery relationship including the setting and meeting of client expectations around project scope, project plans, status reporting and operational success of the project.
Key among the Project Manager’s duties is the ability to take a risk-based approach to planning and decision-making throughout the lifetime of a project, ensuring that risks are effectively assessed, reported and mitigated wherever possible.

Day to Day Project Manager will:
Planning: The Project Manager is responsible for formulating a plan to meet the objectives of the project while adhering to an approved budget and timeline. This blueprint will guide the entire project from ideation to fruition and will include the scope of the project, resources necessary to complete it, anticipated time and financial requirements.
Execution: The Volante project manager will participate in and supervise the successful execution of each stage of the project.
Time management: Staying on schedule is crucial to the successful completion of any project. Time management. When derailments arise, the Project Manager is responsible for resolving them and communicating effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the project gets back on track.
Budget: Project Managers are tasked with devising a budget for a project, and then sticking to it as closely as possible.
The Payments Project Manager Must have:
• 2:1 Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Chemistry degree from a Red Brick UK or EU University
• Recognised Project Management certification (PMP/Prince2/CAPM/CPM/CSM/MPM/Agile).
• 7-10 years minimum experience in Project Management role – candidate must clearly demonstrate experience of running high profile, business critical projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of project management lifecycles, including planning, design, configuration, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, project controls and measuring results.
• Possesses proven track record of managing top tier financial services clients and strategic projects.
• Clear communications, an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assump-tions and resolve conflicts.
• Best practice project management skills, communicate accomplishments, milestones, agreements, key issues and/or change controls with business stakeholders, leads, ven-dors, clients and end-users and will be required to work effectively with globally dispersed teams.
