Quant Capital is urgently looking for a QA Engineer to join our high profile client.
They have recently raised (PE and Bank) £50 million and are set for another £100 million raise in February. They are acquiring users at 50,000 per month and the boards aim is for a £2billion valuation by July 2022.
Day to Day The QA Engineer will:
- Test within Agile scrum/kanban teams
- Plan and execute testing around the product stories and bugs
- Participate in sprint standups, demos, and retrospectives
- Create and maintain QA documentation: test plan, test scenarios, checklists
- Work with Product and Support to determine the required level of quality for each product (reliability, usability, performance)
- Measure and record the quality so that we know when features are ready to be deployed to customers
- Define and carry out a regression testing strategy
- Strive for automated testing while understanding when manual testing makes more sense
- Work with support investigating quality related customer complaints
- Work with product to ensure product requirements cover quality
This is a greenfield project working in conjunction with another team building a mobile application.
The QA Engineer Must have:
- At least 2 years of software testing
- Selenium
- Java
- You are organized, pay attention to detail, and a great communicator
- Quality inspection and testing experience
- Quality planning, execution, and recording experience
- Regression testing planning and execution
- Strong mobile and desktop user skills
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Know when to use different QA techniques

My client is based in Central London, this role is hybrid 1 day a week in the office, potentially 4 per month in bulk.
