Systems Administration Team Lead – Quant Trading

£140,000 Plus Bonus

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Systems Administration Team Lead to join our high profile client.

This is an environment of Google or a startup where tech is number 1 with a huge budget allocated towards this. The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.

My client is a very well known Systematic Maths based Hedge Fund. They run around £50 Billion.

You will be the Helpdesk manager for offices in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Systems administrators provide support, automation, and management for a wide variety of enterprise technology, including a sophisticated Windows and Linux desktop/server environment, cutting-edge storage and clustered computing solutions, and a number of communications platforms.

The ideal Systems Administration Team Lead will have:

· A degree form a top institution

· Five to ten years of relevant experience.

· Well-developed leadership, communication, judgement, project management, and organizational skills are essential, as is a proven track record of both managing a team and building out processes and operations.

· Familiar with corporate IT infrastructure (i.e., the technology described above) and have a holistic understanding of how an IT support group operates.

· Experience with end-user computing, automation, analytics and reporting, and customer outreach is required, as is familiarity with high-touch/white-glove service.

This role suits a candidate who has had responsibility early on in their career, someone who has worked in smaller agile companies with continual change. You must be hands on and have excellent experience of working in a demanding or jack of all trades environment. You will also be a techie motivated by technology. In return you will be rewarded seriously financially we have no limit on basic salary.
