Technical Business Analyst – Fintech
£70,000 Plus 10% Bonus
Remote Working 2 days per month in the office
Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our high profile client.
My Client is a well known global (yet not too corporate) financial software (fintech) business that has developed a unique proprietary front office lending solution.
The development team consists of a CIO, Product Owner, Lead Developer, Software Developers and QA Analysts.
You will become a key member of the team, assisting the product owner and you will have a real say in how the firm implement solutions. We design and develop software for our internal users and our customers. We are constantly refining our development processes within the agile framework.
Day to day the Business Analyst will be:
• Working with stakeholders to establish requirements.
• Scoping, documenting, and translating requirements in the epic/story format.
• Collaborating in the design of system processes and user interfaces.
• Assisting with management the product roadmap, prioritisation, and backlog
• Working with development teams to plan and deliver sprints in line with the company roadmap.
• Helping the development team by planning for and unblocking impediments and dependencies.
• Evaluating and communicating product progress.
• Contributing to the roll out of developed solutions such as post release testing and staff training.
• Working alongside the QA team in testing systems for accuracy, conformity and quality.
• Supporting the Product Owner with the management, maintenance, and delivery of projects
• Developing and maintaining a high knowledge level of products and the processes relating to products within various departments.
• Supporting our data/reporting team by gathering requirements and documenting them in Story format.
You will work on many projects across multiple contexts such as:
• A loan management system incorporating financial transactions, letters, CRM, underwriting and multiple APIs
• A PWA customer portal providing customer self-service functions
• A responsive online application and decisioning platform processing over 10K applications per day
• Application Support tools, payment processing, customer communications, and reporting.
Technical Business Analysts must have:
• A Track record of delivering projects for both internal and external users within deadline and budget
• Exposure to agile software development methodologies such as kanban or scrum
• Experience working with at least two of:
o Websites
o mobile phone apps
o CRM
o API
• Highly organised with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, fluent in English, both written and oral.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
